1. Are pets permitted at Glenview?
Dogs and cats are permitted in certain cottages. If you will have a pet traveling with you, please advise us upon booking. There is a $10.00 per night fee for a pet (the fee is per night, not per pet) Pets must be crated if they are left alone in a cottage. Guests are responsible for any damage done by their pets.
Dogs are also permitted in the campground. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when they are outside. Please scoop up after your pets. We rely on pet owners to follow these guidelines so we can continue to accept pets traveling with their families. We reserve the right to refuse pets based on size, length of stay, safety concerns for staff and other guests, or other factors. Pets other than dogs and cats are not permitted.

2. What is your cancellation policy?
Cottages:
standard cancellation policy for an individual cottage reservation is 2 days. That means we require notice of your cancellation 2 DAYS PRIOR to the date you are scheduled to ARRIVE.
Cottage reservations require a valid credit card guarantee.
A cancellation fee equivalent to the first night'
s accommodation will be charged to your credit card if you cancel with less than 2 days notice or fail to honour your reservation.
We regret that no refund is possible (regardless of the reason) for a cancellation or no show. You are certainly welcome to send someone else in your place.

Different cancellation policies apply for train packages, some holidays and weekends, and for group bookings. You will be advised when you reserve if a different cancellation policy applies to your booking. Cancellation would be required by the agreed upon date.

Campground: reservations have a 24-hour cancellation.
Please call at least 24 hours prior to when you are scheduled to arrive to advise of your cancellation.
No deposit is taken on most campground reservations.
Group reservations will be advised of the applicable cancellation.
3. What payment methods does Glenview accept?
Glenview accepts Visa, Mastercard, Debit and cash as payment.
4. What is check-in and check-out time?
Check in time anytime after 3pm and check-out time is 11am. If you would like a later check out, please inquire at the Front Desk about availability.
Glenview has office hours of 8am to 11pm during the summer/fall season. If you expect to arrive after 11pm, please let us know and we'
ll make arrangements for a late check-in.
5. Is there a restaurant at Glenview?
Glenview does not have a restaurant on the property or within reasonable walking distance. There are many restaurants along Great Northern Road about 5 minutes drive south of Glenview as well as several a few minutes north of Glenview. Several nearby restaurants will deliver amazing food right to your cottage.
Cottages are equipped with everything you would need to cook a meal - just bring your groceries! There are several grocery stores in Sault Ste. Marie on route to Glenview.
5. What should I pack?
Bring your bathing suit to enjoy the hot tub, sauna and pool (summer). A warm sweater is a good thing to bring anytime of the year, it tends to cool off in the evenings even in the summer here in Northern Ontario. Bug repellant and sunscreen are also must-haves during the summer. In the cottages, basic dishes and pots and pans are provided, if you plan to cook a large or special meal you may want to bring extra kitchen items.
6. How to I protect myself from Mosquitoes?
People in Northern Ontario joke that the mosquito is our official bird!
They are a nuisance here from about June to August.
Mosquitoes are attracted to dark clothing, perfumes and hairspray.
We recommend you pack light coloured clothing and insect repellent when you visit during the summer.
7. Are visitors permitted?
Visitors are permitted to visit cottage or campground guests between the hours of 11am and 10pm. If visitors will be using any of Glenview'
s amenities, including the pool, they are required to register at the Front Desk and purchase a Visitor'
s Day Pass for a nominal fee.
8. What about public transportation?
Although Glenview is within Sault Ste. Marie city limits, we are not on the Sault Ste. Marie city bus route. Taxis will take fares to and from Glenview.
