Things to do in the Sault and area:
Agawa Canyon Tour Train
A full day train ride taking you 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie for a two hour stop in the Agawa Canyon. The train departs at 8:00am and returns at 5:00pm daily in the summer and fall.
The train also runs on Saturdays in February as the Snow Train Tour.

A unique museum which highlights the importance of bushplanes in Northern Ontario.

Historic St. Joseph Island
St. Joseph'
s Island, the most westerly of the Manitoulin chain of islands, is about 28 miles east of Sault Ste. Marie. Fort St. Joseph was a military fort. In 1814, the Americans, in retaliation of the British occupation of Fort Michilimackinac, burned Fort St. Joseph to the ground.
